IN BRIEF Tim Krohn
Heimweh
(Homesick)
marebuchverlag, March 2005, 189 pp.
ISBN 3-936384-18-5‘Tim Krohn is a brilliant storyteller… A Swiss writer who brings us a piece of anarchistic magic.’ – So writes a critic in Tagesanzeiger, and indeed these three interconnecting stories make for a satisfying whole. There is subtlety, a crispness of language that enthrals and captures that fragile sense of being on top of the world one moment and lost at sea the next – all part and parcel of youth. A beautiful work by a young Swiss author who is certainly one to watch.
Tim Krohn
was born in 1965 and grew up in Switzerland. He is the author of three previous novels and was awarded the Conrad-Ferdinand- Meyer Award and the Award of the Swiss Schiller Foundation.Translation rights available from:
