Sibylle Lewitscharoff
was born in 1954 and has published three books to date. She also writes plays, essays, stories and features for radio. She was awarded the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize in 1998 for her first novel Pong and the Auszeichnung der Stiftung Buchkunst for Der höfliche Harald in 2000.
